About Kashboard

Kashboard is bookkeeping built for people who never wanted to become bookkeepers. You drop in receipts, invoices and bills - PDF, JPG, HEIC, CSV or forwarded straight to your inbox - and then swipe: right for money in, left for money out. The AI takes the first guess, you make the final call, and it averages around three seconds per document. The dashboard is deliberately three numbers: IN, OUT and PROFIT, shown big and honest, with period switching across month, quarter, year and TTM. Multi-currency income is converted automatically across a dozen currencies, so Stripe payouts, Shopify orders, affiliate income and client invoices all land in the same place. Beyond the day-to-day, Kashboard is built around two moments that matter. The tax time pack bundles your P&L, ledger, cash-flow and full receipt archive into one export your accountant can work from immediately - so you keep visibility on your tax position all year instead of finding out in a letter. The business sale pack does the same job for buyers: TTM figures, financial statements and an audit-ready receipt vault, packaged the way acquirers expect to see them. Other features include a searchable receipt vault, unpaid-invoice tracking so you can see who owes you, an AI chat that answers questions about your own books, and multi-business support so several brands live under one login. It is aimed squarely at freelancers, small business owners, e-commerce brands, creators and online earners who want full tax visibility without the complexity of traditional accounting software.

Cheaper and calmer than what I was paying for

I was paying more than double for a traditional package I used maybe 10% of. Switched, exported everything, no regrets. The calm is worth as much as the money.

    Cash flow finally makes sense

Seeing In vs Out week by week made it obvious my costs were spiking in the middle of every month. Moved a couple of subscriptions and the profit trend visibly improved.

Best tool for creators earning online

Sponsorships, affiliate income, ad revenue, the odd product launch - it all just goes in and comes out as one profit number. My old tool wanted me to pick account codes I didn't understand.

    Onboarding took twenty minutes

Uploaded a year of receipts on a Sunday afternoon, swiped through the queue over two sessions, and I was current. No setup call, no chart of accounts to design.

Tax visibility without becoming an accountant

I always dreaded not knowing what I'd owe. Now I can see the position at any point in the year instead of finding out in a letter. That's the actual value - it's not fewer clicks, it's less dread.

The AI chat over my own books is underrated

Being able to ask 'how much did I spend on software last quarter' and get an answer with the transactions behind it is the feature I didn't know I needed. It's stopped me from renewing three subscriptions I'd forgotten about.

    Great core, still maturing

Been using it since the spring. The team ships fast - a couple of things I asked about turned up within weeks. Marking it four because there are still a few gaps around exports, but the direction is clearly right.

Sold my store and the sale pack did the heavy lifting

I sold a small Shopify brand this year. The business sale pack gave me P&L, ledger, cash flow and the receipt archive in a format the buyer's accountant accepted with almost no back and forth. TTM numbers were already there. That alone paid for years of subscription.

Solid, and the receipt vault is quietly the best bit

Every receipt stored, searchable, tied to a transaction. Got asked for a two-year-old invoice by a supplier and found it in ten seconds. Rating four because I'd like tagging by project.

Finally bookkeeping that fits how I actually work

I run a one-person design studio and I've bounced off every 'proper' accounting tool. Kashboard is the first one I've stuck with. You drop the receipt in, swipe right for money in and left for money out, and that's genuinely it. No chart of accounts, no journal entries, no jargon I have to Google. I do a week of receipts while my coffee brews.

The tax pack alone justifies it

One button and my accountant has the P&L, ledger, and every receipt. Last year that exchange took eleven emails. This year, one.

Good value for a small business

We're a two-person agency. It covers everything we need without the per-seat pricing of the big tools. I'd like a bit more granularity in expense reporting for client rebills, but for knowing where we stand it's more than enough.

    Multi-business view sold me

I run a store, a newsletter and a bit of consulting. One login, switch between them, and an aggregate view across all of them. Previously that was three spreadsheets I never reconciled.

Great for freelancers, light on invoicing

As a freelance copywriter the expense side is brilliant and the 'who hasn't paid me' view has already got two invoices chased and paid. It's not a full invoicing suite though, so I still raise invoices elsewhere and let Kashboard track them.

Small business owner, zero finance background

I sell handmade goods and I hate admin. My husband set this up and I now do the books myself, which was never happening with the old software. If you can swipe on your phone you can run this.

Three numbers is all I ever wanted

In, Out, Profit. Big and honest, right on the dashboard. Every other tool buries that behind six reports. Being able to flick between month, quarter, year and TTM without building anything is the part I use daily.

Does exactly what it says, no more

If you want forecasting, budgets and department-level reporting, look elsewhere. If you want to know your profit and hand a clean pack to your accountant, this is the best I've used at the price.

Fast, simple, a couple of rough edges

Been on it about three months. The swipe flow is genuinely quick and I'm no longer behind on receipts for the first time ever. Bulk uploading a backlog of old receipts took a while to process, and one HEIC file didn't parse, but support sorted it same day.

Perfect for online income that doesn't fit normal accounting

Between Stripe, a newsletter, affiliate payouts and a bit of consulting, my income is messy. Kashboard doesn't care - everything lands in the same queue and the FX gets converted for me. First tool that didn't make me feel like I was doing it wrong.

My accountant asked what I switched to

Tax time used to be a two-weekend job of digging through Gmail. This year I hit the tax pack button, sent the P&L, ledger and receipt archive over, and my accountant emailed back asking what I was using. That's the whole review really.
